How big is the pile of remotes on your coffee table? Have so many you forget which one is for which device? Perhaps you went out and bought a universal remote, only to have it lack some of the features of the individual ones. Data backup is something that all too many people neglect. When I used to work as a technician I would constantly have customers brining in machines with failed hard drives who would beg me to find a way to recover their data. Whether data can be recovered from a drive is dependant upon the type of failure the drive has suffered – and whether recoverable or not the services to try and get your data off of a failed drive are extremely expensive.
