Instant messaging is something that millions of people do on at least a daily basis, if not constantly. While there are programs on the market such at Trillian that support multiple messaging protocols, often times these all-in-one clients break some of the functionality of the individual programs – which is why many people, including myself, simply have two or three clients running at the same time.

If you’re like me, there are certain times of the year where your social calendar seems to get a bit out of control. With family outings, trips to water parks, sporting events, and seasonal festivals, getting a group of people together, and keeping track of who is coming can be a bit tricky.

For this, I like to use Google Calendar.
